Eastern Redbud

Cercis canadensis

Full sun to partial shade. Medium-to-wet loam/soil that will also tolerate acidic and heavy clay.

Balsam Fir

Abies balsamea

Balsam fir is very cold hardy, but does not do well in hot, humid summers. It prefers an acid, well drained soil, but can tolerate sites that are more consistently moist. Does poorly on dry exposed sites. Full sun to full shade.

Concolor Fir

Abies concolor

Do not plant in heavy clay soil. Soil Preference: Moist, well-drained soil, Sandy soil. Light Exposure: Full sun, Partial sun/shade
